Staff Product Marketing Engineer

Deep infrastructure experience understanding modern data systems build, deployment, and scaling. Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL, including schema design, indexing, query planning, and performance tuning. Experience designing or running technical benchmarks, ideally in high-ingest or real-time environments. Ability to communicate complex infrastructure trade-offs to developers clearly. Strong writing skills with a portfolio of technical blogs, docs, or reports. Comfort collaborating across product, engineering, docs, and GTM teams. Experience with vector databases (e.g., pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate) (Bonus). Experience with time-series architectures (Bonus). Experience with event streaming and orchestration tools (Kafka) (Bonus). Previous work in developer tools, AI infrastructure, or open-source ecosystems (Bonus).

Develop product positioning and messaging. Create hands-on technical content like benchmark reports, engineering blogs, and walkthroughs. Build technical artifacts such as sample queries, schema models, and reference architectures. Design and run benchmarks to demonstrate performance advantages. Collaborate with engineering to test ingestion rates, query throughput, latency, and vector retrieval speed. Contribute to developer documentation and tutorials. Analyze the infrastructure and AI ecosystem for market and competitive positioning. Own technical go-to-market strategy for new feature launches. Equip Sales, SEs, and Customer Success with technical materials. Act as a technical proxy for developers, providing feedback to product teams.
