5–7+ years of experience in sales roles or financial services, ideally in roles that work directly with advisory firms (RIA recruiting, RIA M&A, sales & trading, wholesaling, insurance distribution, custodian relationship management, or similar) Proven success leading advisors/advisory teams through structured decision processes and landing high-quality commitments Hands-on experience managing both protocol and non-protocol breakaways Deep understanding of independent advisory firms, including business models, client expectations, and common breakaway considerations Strong relationship-building instincts, with a long-term, consultative approach to business development High energy, clear communication, and the ability to operate independently Strategic mindset with the discipline to manage a robust pipeline
