Senior Manager, Government Affairs

8+ years of experience in government affairs, with emphasis on direct lobbying and external relationship management. Experience at a U.S. government or congressional office and within a fintech, payments, or financial services company's government affairs team is ideal. Proven expertise in political and government affairs tactics and strategies. Deep network of relationships in Washington D.C. and/or key state capitals. Demonstrated experience in administering and ensuring compliance for political giving and federal lobbying disclosure requirements. Deep working knowledge of fintech and/or financial services. Adept at identifying complex legislative issues and translating them into advocacy strategies. Exceptional communication, writing, and presentation skills. Proven ability to build and foster strong relationships. Advanced degree (Law, Public Policy, Political Management, Legislative Affairs, Political Science, or related field) preferred.

Lead direct engagement with the U.S. Congress and Administration. Develop and execute advocacy strategies to educate policymakers. Manage engagement portfolio with trade associations, think tanks, and consumer advocacy organizations. Serve as a spokesperson at legislative and policy-focused events. Provide strategic advice on political landscape and legislative developments.
