Senior IT Application Specialist

Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field 5 - 8 years of required previous experience in the technical, functional & system support of IT applications specifically IVR solutions 5 - 8 years experience with Cloud Platforms (platform components, assembling applications, and run-time architecture) Ability to effectively prioritize multiple requests, projects, and activities Knowledge of best practices for ethical and responsible AI implementation and experience evaluating, selecting, and implementing AI-driven solutions Strong programming/scripting knowledge - Powershell, Python, Bash, etc. Intermediate understanding of cloud computing platforms including Google Cloud, AWS, and Microsoft Azure Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Maintain a secure and highly available application environment Identify and implement features, functions, and AI capabilities Owns design, planning, execution and testing for projects, enhancements and break/fix issues End-to-end responsibility for designing, implementation and maintaining of IVR application lifecycle and other associated SaaS products Design, configure, implement and maintain IVR applications, associated SaaS Application and service requirements while researching and establishing best practices Lead and/or participate in projects as a technical subject matter expert Plan, coordinate and test upgrades for enterprise applications Identify and resolve medium to highly complex production problems for supported applications Lead in knowledge transfer sessions and documentation, mentor peers Manage Google Workspace within Geotab’s corporate system and service environment Zero Trust Architecture management Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotating schedule
