Senior Network Engineer

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role Overall 6+ years of work experience within Network space Network engineering, design, and architecture expertise Exposure to two or more of the following areas: LAN/WAN, firewalls, wireless, security, VOIP, QoS, and encryption technologies Mastery of TCP/IP protocol communications, addressing & subnetting Firewall experience: Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA Extensive knowledge of Cisco’s product portfolio: routers, switches, wireless, ACS and ISE Extensive knowledge of Network diagnostics, protocols, and disciplines: EIGRP, BGP, eBGP, SNMP, VPN, SSH, and MPLS technologies Design, engineer and implementation of Software Defined Networking Demonstrated ability to continuously adapt to new technologies and trends Excellent English speaking and writing Preferred: Advanced knowledge of routing and switching protocols Preferred: Experience with SDN technologies such as Cisco ACI, VMWare NSX Preferred: Experience and working knowledge of scripting/automation tools such as python, Ansible Preferred: Experience with load balancing technologies such as F5, Netscaler, A10 Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience Preferred: Cisco certifications such as CCNP or CCDP, CCIE, or CCDE

Design and implement enterprise and data center wide voice and data network solutions Develop, implement, and maintain network solutions (Network, Security/Threat, Voice) Develop and maintain network documentation, standards, and guidelines Manage network and security capacity planning Consult with and coordinate solutions with Ensono ENSG customers Provide L3 Operations support for network issues Design, engineer, and implement complex network solutions Perform Incident Management, Request Fulfillment, Change Management, Event Management, and Problem Management Proactively monitor client network performance and make recommendations Drive and implement network solutions-based architectures Contribute to documentation, automation, and process improvement Provide strategic technical direction on complex network projects Research and develop innovative network solutions and product road maps Lead self and others, acting as Product SME or specialist Manage multiple projects and plan Network roadmap Analyze IT industry trends and their impact on network systems architecture Design, engineer, and implement Software Defined Networking
