10+ years of experience in a legal and/or enterprise-class environment with a complex network and security architecture. Experience ordering, installing, configuring, and troubleshooting modern data and voice circuits. In-depth knowledge of Network and firewall systems and IP Protocols. Ability to understand a complex network with minimal supervision. Strong knowledge of network hardware such as routers; switches; firewalls, and load balancers. Knowledge of various networking and communications hardware and software. Familiar with monitoring systems and tools used to prevent lapses in service. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, or a related field. Ability to create and oversee the installation of fiber and copper cable plant. Lead engineer in the design of MDF, IDF, and data center moves. Experience working with multiple networking and routing protocols, including TCP/IP, MPLS, OSPF, and MP-BGP. Ability to perform traffic studies to determine user/application WAN usage and correct routing. Strong familiarity with Cisco, Aruba, and Palo Alto technologies. Knowledge of network security and system hardening, Microsoft Active Directory, PKI, DNS, DHCP. Self-motivated, eager to learn, patient and methodical. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and navigate stressful situations. Willing to work occasional long hours and scheduled off-hours. Available for weekend/Holiday on-call rotation.
