Sr Implementation Consultant - Healthcare IT / Remote

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience. 2+ years of hands-on healthcare IT implementation and configuration experience. Strong functional knowledge of an EMR/EHR system. Specific expertise in Altera Sunrise EMR (Core or Ambulatory) is preferred; Epic or Meditech experience with deep clinic workflow knowledge is also valued. Experience working as part of a formal implementation project team that has successfully rolled out EMR systems. Clinical background preferred. Technical background (SQL or SSRS reporting) preferred. Proven client presentation experience; strong written and oral communication skills. Project management experience; skilled at managing multiple priorities. Proven ability to learn new information quickly.

Implement Altera software solutions, focusing on Sunrise EMR (Core and Ambulatory) at client sites. Perform project workplan tasks as a member of a larger project team. Perform complex system configuration and provide consultation to clients. Provide expert workflow consultation for ambulatory processes, translating paper workflows to electronic formats. Identify, resolve, and escalate system and workflow issues. Provide activation support and meet client utilization targets. Set and manage expectations with client stakeholders from end-users to executive leadership. Anticipate client needs and demonstrate exceptional stakeholder engagement.
