Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in the Australian mortgage industry
- Proven leadership and team management background
- At least 3 years of experience as an Operations Manager
- Demonstrated ability in process improvement and operational efficiency
- Experience in handling HR-related functions, employee concerns, and transactions
- Training and Recruitment experience
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to work under tight timelines in a collaborative environment
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Experience in offshore support to Australian brokerage or broker is an advantage
- Having a wide range of connection and resource of offshore loan support is also an advantage
Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and support all offshore teams
- Implement robust performance management systems
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
- Act as the primary liaison between headquarters and offshore teams
- Oversee and ensure accurate, timely, and compliant processing of offshore payroll
- Manage offshore financial operations
- Liaise with local accounting/finance teams and vendors
- Monitor offshore income streams and address shortfalls
- Prepare and present financial reports specific to offshore operations
- Continuously analyze and optimize offshore operational workflows
- Identify and implement best practices in offshore management
- Develop and maintain operational policies, procedures, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with relevant local and international labor laws
- Manage vendor relationships critical to offshore operations
- Contributes to the strategic planning for offshore expansion
- Identify opportunities for process automation, technology adoption, and resource optimization
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership on offshore market trends
