Alpen Labs pioneers the integration of zero-knowledge (ZK) cryptography with Bitcoin to solve critical challenges in scalability, privacy, and programmability. Your work will involve crafting cutting-edge innovations in zero-knowledge cryptography and off-chain solutions, expanding Bitcoin's utility for billions of users. The company is developing a modular rollup layer on Bitcoin, aiming to anchor applications to Bitcoin's secure foundation and unlock its vast potential for DeFi and other on-chain applications. You will contribute to projects like SNARKnado, a protocol for verifying SNARKs on Bitcoin, and the design of a Layer 2 validity rollup, enhancing scalability and privacy. Additionally, you will build native ZK proof verifiers and scalable payment protocols using ZK client-side validation. You will explore a programmable, scalable Layer 2 ecosystem on Bitcoin, envisioning diverse applications from payments and lending to stablecoins and novel use cases.
