Requirements
- 6-10 years of progressive experience in finance/accounting.
- Big Four accounting and startup finance experience preferred.
- Solid foundation in accounting (GAAP, close & reporting) and FP&A (budgeting, forecasting, modeling).
- Hands-on experience is most important; CPA or CMA is a strong plus.
- Fluency in the modern finance stack (QBO, Bill, Brex, Carta, Rippling, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills and comfort building financial models.
- Elite-level attention to detail.
- Experience managing junior team members with a player-coach mentality.
Responsibilities
- Support onboarding of new clients and lead planning & budgeting cycles.
- Define and maintain standards, templates, and processes for FP&A & Accounting delivery.
- Manage and mentor finance team members.
- Oversee bookkeeping, AP, AR, and payroll processes for clients.
- Review financial models, reports, and accounting work.
- Improve workflows, templates, and tooling for efficiency.
- Document and share finance best practices.
- Anticipate team needs and help recruit and onboard new hires.
- Take direct ownership of key deliverables such as monthly close and financial reporting.
