Requirements:
8+ years in quota-carrying sales roles. Experience in Big Data, Consumption, Cloud, SaaS, Open Source, or Enterprise IT Solutions. Prior sales methodology training (e.g., MEDDPICC, Challenger). Experience leading and executing complex sales strategies. Consistent track record of overachieving and hitting quota attainment. Ability to articulate and sell business value. Experience developing and improving processes and managing change. Exceptional relationship-building, customer relations, and negotiation skills. BS/BA degree or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities:
Drive revenue growth in large, complex accounts. Proactively prospect, identify, qualify, develop, and close sales pipeline. Grow consumption in current customer accounts. Lead complex sales cycles and demonstrate Confluent's business value. Become an expert on Confluent offerings and the competitive landscape. Understand customer strategies and business goals. Collaborate with partner ecosystem teams. Align with Solutions Engineering, Professional Services, and Customer Success Management.
