Requirements:
3+ years of field experience in a quota-carrying role focused on landing net-new logos. Prior experience in Big Data, Cloud, SaaS, Open Source, or Enterprise IT Solutions. Previous sales methodology training (i.e. MEDDPICC, Challenger, etc.). Consistent track record of success and history of overachieving quota attainment. Exceptional communication skills - written and oral including strong presentation skills. Excellent time management skills. High integrity, intelligence, self-driven, and team player. Highly developed selling, customer relations, and negotiation skills. Open to Travel to customer locations as needed. BS/BA degree or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities:
Drive revenue growth for diverse territories. Prospect, identify, qualify, develop, and close sales pipeline. Manage the entire sales process. Collaborate with business development, customer success, and support teams. Present and sell value proposition. Partner with Solutions Engineers and Professional Services. Manage customer relationships and identify new opportunities. Understand Confluent offerings and competitive landscape. Travel to customer sites as needed. Negotiate SaaS/cloud/software contracts.
