Requirements:
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Japanese, written and verbal. BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience. 3-5 years of business development / quota-carrying sales experience in the technology industry with SaaS, PaaS or IaaS products and platforms. Proven experience selling cloud products/services. Consistent record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas. High degree of self-discipline and experience using CRM systems and sales forecasting. Technically minded with an in-depth understanding of the technology and cloud computing market, and a passion for AWS products. Independent, curious, creative, and passionate networker. Self-organized, goal-oriented, self-motivated, confident, thorough, and tenacious. Analytical, data-driven, detail-oriented. Ability to operate with flexibility and independently in a fast-paced environment. A great sense of humor.
Responsibilities:
Exceed assigned sales quota and pipeline goals. Develop and execute a territory strategy for new business growth. Manage the customer business cycle from engagement to contract close. Ensure forecast accuracy in Salesforce. Collaborate with AWS/GCP Executives and Partner Managers. Act as a trusted advisor to understand customer requirements. Partner with Forward Deployed Engineers and Solution Engineering. Design, plan, and execute lead demand generation campaigns. Travel 30-40% per month for meetings and events.
