Requirements:
10+ years of estimating experience (commercial construction preferred) Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Proficiency with takeoff and estimating software (OnScreen Takeoff, Bluebeam, SmartBid, or similar) Advanced Excel and reporting skills Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred Must be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently in a remote environment
Responsibilities:
Perform accurate quantity takeoffs and detailed cost estimates Develop and review scopes of work Manage subcontractor outreach, bid comparisons, and proposal collection Analyze project documents and maintain organized digital estimate logs Prepare estimate summaries, bid packages, clarifications, and supporting documents Coordinate with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and internal staff Maintain and update pricing databases and subcontractor/vendor lists Support MWBE, union, and local participation compliance
