2-3 years of experience in electrical estimating with projects ranging from $1 million and larger. Proficiency in Estimating Software systems. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, plans, and terminology. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Familiarity with technology trends. Proficiency with Bluebeam is beneficial. Excellent mathematical skills. Excellent organizational abilities. Effective communication with vendors, customers, field personnel, and colleagues.

Prepare full estimates of commercial electrical projects. Prepare cost analysis for construction projects. Manage multiple projects while maintaining organization. Solicit and review pricing from vendors and subcontractors. Maintain estimating computer files. Create conceptual estimates with minimal information. Identify and coordinate electrical trade partners. Manage the electrical estimating process and create databases. Collect and organize bid information for historical cost database. Identify expenses related to electrical applications. Review milestone documents for scope changes and value opportunities. Assist field operations with change order pricing.
