Commercial Counsel - UK / Ireland

Qualified lawyer in Ireland, the UK, or another common law jurisdiction, with the ability to practice in your location. 6-12 years of relevant post-qualification legal experience (in-house experience in technology or SaaS strongly preferred). Demonstrated expertise in commercial contracts, SaaS and software licensing, technology transactions, data protection, and intellectual property. Particular familiarity with GDPR and other European regulatory frameworks. Strong commercial acumen and ability to balance legal risk with business objectives. Comfortable working independently and collaborating effectively with global stakeholders. Deep interest in the future of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.

Draft, review, negotiate, and close complex commercial agreements. Partner with regional teams to design and implement go-to-market strategies. Monitor and interpret evolving European legal and regulatory developments. Develop and localize contract templates, playbooks, and policies. Provide clear, pragmatic, and commercially focused legal advice. Contribute to scaling the Legal Team’s commercial function across Europe.
