Requirements:
6+ years PQE; UK or EU qualified (US-qualified also considered). Significant experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements. Confident engaging with counterparties across the UK, US, and Europe. Experience supporting RFPs/tenders, ideally including public sector and academia. Ability to streamline contracting processes and develop playbooks, templates, and training. Strong communicator able to translate legal issues clearly for non-legal stakeholders. Comfortable working independently and under pressure, with excellent stakeholder management skills. Some working knowledge of employment law and worker/employee status.
Responsibilities:
Lead on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts. Maintain and improve standard terms, templates, and contracting processes. Support RFPs and tender submissions. Provide clear, commercially focused legal advice. Develop contracting playbooks, training materials, and scalable legal workflows. Collaborate closely with Sales and other key stakeholders. Coordinate work with external counsel. Advise on broader commercial matters including marketing, IP, and consumer issues.
