University Degree in an appropriate discipline (HR, Business or Finance preferred) or equivalent combination of post-secondary education. Three to five years of human resources experience, with a focus on compensation and/or benefits. Professional accreditation preferred. Advanced level user of Excel (i.e., pivot tables, lookups, advanced formulas, macros). Knowledgeable of HRIS and compensation related tools/software. Working knowledge of broad-based compensation topics such as market pricing, salary structure design and development, job evaluation, and analysis. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including grammar and composition. Exceptional customer service skills with a team player mindset. Proven time management skills and a strong attention to detail. Detail-oriented and organized, strong analytical skills and mathematical aptitude. Familiar with survey methodology and point-factor job evaluation systems. Ability to deal with complex, sensitive and personal issues while maintaining confidentiality. Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly professional environment.
