Billing Operations Specialist (Remote)

High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred). Proven experience in billing, accounts receivable, or finance roles. Proficiency with billing software and financial management tools (e.g., Stripe or similar systems). Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to troubleshoot and resolve billing issues efficiently.

Oversee accurate and timely processing of invoices and billing statements. Address billing issues or questions by working with other departments. Investigate and resolve payment disputes or chargebacks. Contact clients to communicate payment issues and guide them through updating payment details. Meet or exceed collection targets. Ensure proper application of billing rates, terms, and discounts. Review and reconcile discrepancies in customer accounts and billing records. Monitor and track payment schedules. Manage invoice preparation and submission. Implement and maintain billing systems and processes. Collaborate with external vendors and customers on billing inquiries. Ensure compliance with billing and payment policies and regulations. Maintain accurate customer billing information. Assist with audits related to billing records and payments.
