Billing Specialist

Proven work experience as a Billing Specialist or similar role 5+ years of work experience Healthcare experience a plus Understanding of accounts receivable work Good command of Google Suite, Microsoft Excel and Netsuite Strong analytical skills Exceptional organization and time management skills Ability to work autonomously High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Technical skills at a high level Superior written and verbal communication skills Interpersonal skills Highly motivated and able to thrive under pressure Team player with a positive attitude Pro-active and owns accountability Able to maintain confidentiality Able to excel in a fast-paced environment Adaptable to changing responsibilities Entrepreneurial spirit, creative problem solving, and innovative thinking Self-starter comfortable working independently

Manage the billing cycle (charge entry to collections follow-up) Maintain accurate customer contact and pricing information Triage and respond to customer inquiries and/or disputes Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies Perform collections efforts Maintain client records related to invoicing and bill payment Work with and review work of 3rd party billing vendor Process invoices and payments for partnerships Ensure accuracy of invoicing for the company and its customers Contribute ideas for and implement process improvements Assist in system implementations and new policy rollouts Perform other related accounting duties as assigned Assist in various ad-hoc projects
