Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, applied math, computer science or other relevant degree (required) Experience in statistical forecasting/demand planning with relevant experience in advanced analytics and practice (in a complex/global organization) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in addition to effective decision-making capability. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to generate actionable insights from large qualitative and quantitative data Strong communication, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues at different levels and across different teams Strong Mathematics and Statistical Background, focus on such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, correlational models, etc. High level of intellectual curiosity about the Analytics Extensive Experience with Analytics products and solutions Knowledge and experience of tools/techniques: Forecasting, Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, Regularization, Segmentation (Decision Trees, CHAID, CART), Cluster Analysis, Factor Analysis, variable screening, Machine Learning – Random Forest, Gradient Boosting, SVM, XGBoost. Understand of at least one advanced planning systems and its functionality, e.g. Kinaxis, o9 Solutions, other. Knowledge of ERP functionality, experience with SAP / Oracle / JDE an asset.
