Associate Commercial Counsel

JD from an accredited law school; admission to the bar of any state. 2+ years of experience as a member of the in-house legal department or contracts department. High level of comfort in a large business environment supporting a sales-focused organization. Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills. Direct experience negotiating critical contract terms, such as Limitations of Liability and Indemnification. Experience aligning contract terms to meet revenue recognition requirements. Excellent and advanced Microsoft Word skills and prior experience using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Find creative solutions that meet both Experian's and its clients' business and compliance needs. Ensure contracts comply with Experian policies, business practices, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with multiple partners and subject matter experts to complete transactions. Maintain and enforce compliance with contracting policies. Assist sales teams with the remediation and administration of client contracts. Advise management on contractual terms and risks. Provide training to sales and other departments on contract issues and negotiation strategies.
