Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California Bar.
• 4+ years’ complex litigation experience, specifically in public agency acquisitions, eminent domain, and inverse condemnation litigation.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Sound judgment and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and other legal proceedings.
• Prepare and present evidence at administrative and judicial hearings.
• Advise clients on legal issues related to eminent domain, including valuation and compensation.
• Collaborate with other legal professionals, including paralegals and attorneys.
• Manage and prioritize a high volume of cases, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
