Associate General Counsel, Origination & Commercial - Battery Storage

J.D., Required Minimum 3-4 years of top-tier law firm experience working with (renewable) energy project development At lease 1-2 years of in-house legal experience with a renewable energy/standalone energy storage developer or investor-owned utility Experience leading negotiations of power purchase agreements Experience structuring and negotiating project-scale M&A transactions Knowledge of project finance structures Strong business acumen with excellent commercial judgment Highly organized with impeccable attention to detail Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities Collaborative, entrepreneurial, and inquisitive mindset Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office products Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment

Partner with Origination and Commercial Team in negotiation of offtake agreements Support Origination and Commercial Team in conducting due diligence and negotiations on M&A opportunities Support Origination and Commercial Team in reviewing request for proposals and developing comprehensive bid submittments Function as an internal quarterback for offtake transactions Support the Finance Team with commercial inputs for project finance transactions Oversee Outside Counsel on select transactions
