Requirements

  • Advanced healthcare degree (PharmD, Ph.D., or MD) with relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical patient care role, medical affairs, or field medical role.
  • Strong interpersonal communication, presentation, and networking skills.
  • Ability to engage in scientific dialogue and present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across functions and adapt to a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to travel 50-75% of the time, including evenings, weekends, and quarterly visits to the San Francisco office.
  • For Senior MSL: 3+ years of medical affairs or field medical experience preferred.
  • For Senior MSL: Understanding of clinical research and pharmaceutical product development processes.
  • For Senior MSL: Demonstrated leadership capability in project teams and cross-functional groups.
  • Prior experience in rare diseases, cardiology, or neurology preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, clinical care sites, and key stakeholders within assigned territory.
  • Serve as the primary and credible source of balanced medical and scientific information for healthcare providers.
  • Educate and engage in scientific exchange, deliver medical presentations, gather insights, and respond to requests for information.
  • Implement field territory-specific medical plans aligned with overall medical affairs strategy.
  • Represent BridgeBio at major scientific conferences and external forums.
  • Senior Level: Lead cross-functional collaborations and contribute to strategic development of medical territory plans.
  • Senior Level: Mentor and support peer MSLs, fostering knowledge transfer and professional development.
  • Senior Level: Lead strategic planning, execution, and post-congress analysis of scientific congresses.
  • Senior Level: Participate in the development of scientific and medical content including slide decks, FAQs, and training materials.
