Requirements
- 3–4 years of accounting experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Familiarity with SaaS revenue recognition concepts (ASC 606).
- Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
- Strong attention to detail with an ownership mentality.
- Ability to manage competing priorities with limited supervision in a fully remote setting.
- Public accounting background (Big 4, regional firm, or similar) strongly preferred.
- CPA license or active CPA candidacy is a plus.
- Experience with Chargebee preferred.
- Experience navigating and querying data in Salesforce preferred.
- Experience with Revops.io or comparable revenue operations tooling is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own or co-own a significant portion of the monthly close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Help oversee the order-to-cash process, including revenue accounting and operating within CRM and billing systems.
- Maintain general ledger integrity and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
- Support the annual audit process and assist with tax compliance deliverables.
- Participate in finance tech stack system implementation and improvement projects.
- Actively seek and test opportunities to deploy AI tools to improve accounting efficiency and accuracy.
