- At least 2 years in a senior individual contributor or lead capacity.
- Deep understanding of SaaS business models, contract structures, and discounting methodologies.
- Proficiency in evaluating deal economics to balance growth, profitability, and risk.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using Salesforce and financial modeling tools.
- Demonstrated ability to incorporate AI-powered tools into workflows to improve efficiency.
- Proven track record of operating with high autonomy and making judgment calls under ambiguity.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex commercial concepts for cross-functional stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Own and operate Fleetio's Deal Desk function end-to-end, including deal review, approval routing, and exception management.
- Develop and maintain the commercial policy framework, including discount guardrails, approval matrices, and escalation paths.
- Advise Sales, Partnerships, and executive leadership on complex, strategic, and non-standard deals.
- Review new business, expansion, and renewal deals to ensure consistent application of pricing policies.
- Analyze deal performance data and pricing trends to drive productivity improvements.
- Implement AI and automation tools to triage deal reviews, summarize contract terms, and build pricing models.
- Collaborate with Partnerships to define commercial frameworks for partner-sourced deals.
- Define and report on key Deal Desk metrics such as approval SLAs and ARPU floors.
