Community Engagement Manager

Develop and lead community engagement and market presence strategies across Minnesota.
Identify key stakeholders, assess community sentiment, and anticipate potential concerns or opposition.
Build relationships with local officials, community organizations, and other influential stakeholders.
Plan and facilitate informational sessions, community meetings, and outreach events.
Partner with internal teams to incorporate community perspectives throughout project development and deployment.
Coordinate community engagement with project timelines alongside Host Engagement, Commercialization, Marketing, and Projects teams.
Identify potential community concerns or project risks early and recommend solutions.
Support local approval processes and engagement with authorities having jurisdiction.
Maintain records of stakeholder communications, commitments, and outreach activities.
Partner with Marketing to develop clear, accessible materials and talking points.

Engineering at Sparkfund

As an engineer at Sparkfund, you will tackle the complex challenges of integrating distributed energy resources into the grid. You will support the technical development of battery storage and other DER projects. This involves evaluating project feasibility, technical design reviews, and utility coordination. You will work with proprietary platforms like SparkOS to streamline project management. Expect hands-on exposure to real-world project development, from engineering design to permitting and interconnection. You will ensure designs comply with electrical codes and project standards. Your work helps build critical energy infrastructure.
