Requirements
- 6+ years of program management or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience with APIs, HL7 v2/v3, ORU, XDS.b, XDA, XDM, SFTP, VPN, 837, or related communication protocols.
- 4+ years of experience with interoperability standards and methodologies.
- 4+ years of experience working with electronic health record (EHR), practice management, billing, or hospital systems.
- Strong skills in negotiating contracts with vendors.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare administrative and clinical data sets.
- Understanding of ambulatory healthcare workflows.
- Experience with Jira, Salesforce, and Tableau.
- Working knowledge of Mirth interface engine.
- PMP certification is preferred.
- Master’s degree in a technical field or other relevant field is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage the execution of multiple healthcare integration projects simultaneously in accordance with data specifications and service level agreements.
- Provide leadership for project planning and execution, while identifying and mitigating portfolio risks.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders across discovery, connectivity, and data delivery phases to bring interfaces live.
- Maintain program scope alignment with strategic business objectives and provide regular health updates to leadership.
- Identify innovative solutions to technical project blockers and resolve constraints through cross-functional consensus.
- Coordinate vendor relationships, including negotiation and contract management.
- Support business continuity of the portfolio and assist in resolving critical issues affecting active interfaces.
