Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in content marketing, brand journalism, or B2B content.
- Strong writing portfolio with range across newsletter editions and industry pieces.
- Comfortable producing simple video and audio formats or willingness to learn.
- Experience writing for email newsletters and owned editorial programs.
- Familiarity with paid editorial or sponsored content.
- Strong project management instincts with ability to track multiple workstreams.
- Comfortable using AI and LLM-based tools in professional workflows.
- Curiosity about how AI and LLM systems surface and cite content.
- SaaS or restaurant/hospitality experience preferred.
- Proven track record of growing or engaging an owned audience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Write derivative assets from flagship reports, site content, and topic cluster pieces.
- Produce front-facing video content and appear on camera to break down reports for social and owned channels.
- Develop audio formats to boost accessibility and visibility in AI systems.
- Own writing for the Data by Toast email newsletter and LinkedIn newsletter.
- Craft paid editorial and sponsored placements for industry publications.
- Manage the distribution sequence for flagship releases across social, email, and site channels.
- Collaborate with PR and Organic Growth partners to source material and identify coverage gaps.
- Use AI tools to draft, repurpose, and analyze content performance.
