Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including as a Senior Accounting Manager, Controller, or Assistant Controller.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or equivalent professional accounting designation is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting.
- Experience working with US-based companies in technology, IT consulting, or SaaS industries.
- Proven ownership of month-end and year-end close processes.
- Experience managing external audits.
- Strong understanding of internal controls, accounting policies, and compliance.
- Experience managing multi-entity accounting and intercompany transactions.
- Proficiency with cloud-based ERP systems (QuickBooks Online is required).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Responsibilities
- Lead the accounting and finance function for a US-based technology consulting firm.
- Own the monthly and annual financial close process.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
- Oversee accounting operations, including banking, payroll, treasury, and multi-entity intercompany transactions.
- Ensure compliance with tax and statutory reporting requirements.
- Lead external audits and coordinate with external advisors.
- Develop and strengthen internal controls and accounting processes.
- Lead accounting system implementations and automation initiatives.
- Partner with the CEO to provide financial analysis and support strategic decision-making.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
