Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in marketplace operations, e-commerce merchandising, or vendor management.
- Proven experience managing supplier or vendor relationships in an operational capacity.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret sales, inventory, and operational data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with data systems and reporting tools.
- Strong project management and organizational skills to handle multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience documenting processes and creating structured SOPs.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience with marketplace platforms like Amazon, Home Depot, or Walmart is preferred.
- Familiarity with product feeds, catalog management systems, or MDM tools is a plus.
- Background in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or trade supply industries is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify new supplier opportunities using market analysis and competitive research.
- Manage the complete supplier onboarding lifecycle from initial contact through launch.
- Lead product feed setup, validation, and catalog quality improvements.
- Monitor supplier performance and coordinate resolutions for fulfillment, pricing, and operational issues.
- Develop and maintain SOPs and repeatable workflows to support marketplace scalability.
- Collaborate with merchandising, pricing, supply chain, and product teams to resolve operational challenges.
- Analyze inventory, returns, and operational data to identify improvement opportunities.
