Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in transportation, mobility, technology, public policy, or partnerships.
- Demonstrated success in business development and building strategic stakeholder relationships.
- Experience engaging with public sector organizations, transport authorities, or industry associations.
- Proven experience in public speaking and representing organizations in working groups or policy engagement.
- Strong understanding of the European mobility ecosystem and transportation policy landscape.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and operate effectively in an international, remote environment.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time for conferences and summits.
- Experience with open data or open-source technologies (preferred).
- Familiarity with GTFS, GBFS, NeTEx, or SIRI data standards (preferred).
- Experience working with European institutions or National Access Points (preferred).
- Additional European language proficiency (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional membership growth, onboarding, and retention strategies.
- Manage regional financial targets and identify strategic funding opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, public transport authorities, and technology providers.
- Develop and execute European policy and advocacy strategies to support open data practices.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments relevant to mobility standards.
- Represent the organization at conferences, panels, and high-profile industry events.
- Plan and implement regional events and outreach initiatives.
- Maintain regional market intelligence and pipeline data in the organizational CRM.
