Requirements
- 5 years of experience with a BS/BA degree, 3 years with an MS/MA, 9 years with a HS Diploma, or 0 years with a PhD.
- Experience as a Business Analyst on federal government programs.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, user story development, and requirement management tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Self-motivated and effective at working remotely.
- Experience supporting DMDC, DoD, or personnel data systems (preferred).
- Familiarity with AMASS or similar large-scale data matching programs (preferred).
- Exposure to data analysis, SQL, or system integration activities (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Work closely with program stakeholders to gather, validate, and document business, functional, and technical requirements.
- Develop user personas, use cases, workflow diagrams, wireframes, interface mockups, and functional specifications.
- Analyze existing workflows and system processes to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Translate complex operational needs into clear, actionable requirements for technical teams.
- Develop and maintain the Requirements Traceability Matrix.
- Support development, testing, and implementation by ensuring requirements traceability.
- Prepare business process documentation, user stories, and process maps.
- Document API integration guidance and mobile authentication user journeys.
- Assist in backlog refinement, prioritization, and sprint planning in an Agile environment.
- Facilitate meetings and ensure compliance with federal standards and data security requirements.
