Requirements
- 7+ years of product management experience on developer tools or marketplaces, or experience as an ex-founder with strong product instincts.
- Experience building and growing a two-sided surface, such as an app store, plugin ecosystem, developer platform, or marketplace.
- Experience with app stores or developer-platform distribution is a strong plus.
- Ability to identify which partners and integrations matter most, with specific instinct for agentic and code-first integrations.
- Bias toward speed and preference for shipping imperfect work to learn quickly.
- Ability to form product opinions through first-hand use by publishing test integrations and wiring them into projects.
- Proficiency in using AI tools to compress research, drafting, and feedback synthesis.
- Ability to work asynchronously by default and make decisions in writing.
Responsibilities
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for the marketplace, the two-sided surface where Partners and developers publish integrations and where Supabase's developer customers discover and install them.
- Make it effortless for a developer to find the right capability and integrate it by owning discovery, search, listings, and the installation path.
- Ensure publishing an integration is fast and rewarding to keep the catalog deep and current.
- Set the quality bar and listing standards, building review, guardrail, and versioning mechanisms to keep the catalog trustworthy.
- Define metrics across both supply and demand to instrument the surface and drive data-informed product development.
- Position the marketplace as the distribution layer for agent-driven development.
