- 7+ years in software engineering and technology leadership
- Experience serving as CTO, Head of Engineering, VP Engineering, or Fractional CTO
- Proven experience building products from concept through production
- Strong background leading distributed engineering teams
- Deep experience with AI and LLM technologies
- Experience designing scalable cloud architectures
- Strong software engineering background
- Experience hiring, mentoring and growing engineering teams
- Deep experience designing and scaling solutions within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem
- Expertise in prompt engineering, agentic AI, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and workflow automation
- Proficiency in Python and modern backend development
- Experience with API design and integration (REST/FastAPI)
Responsibilities
- Define and execute NIVA's technology strategy and roadmap
- Lead Engineering, AI, Data & Platform teams
- Build and mentor a high-performing global engineering organization
- Drive software architecture, AI initiatives, automation, cloud infrastructure, and platform scalability
- Establish engineering standards, governance, CI/CD, security, and development best practices
- Partner with executive leadership to align technology investments with business priorities
- Evaluate emerging technologies, AI models, and product opportunities
- Balance strategic leadership with technical architecture and solution design
