Requirements
- Bachelor's or Associate degree in nursing, medicine, electronics, or engineering.
- 2+ years of recent experience in cardiac device management.
- Successful completion of a cardiac device rhythm management course or equivalent experience.
- Expertise interpreting diagnostics from Medtronic, Abbott/St. Jude, Boston Scientific, and Biotronik.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, and Slack.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and PHI standards.
- Industry training and experience in cardiac rhythm management preferred.
- CCT, CRAT, RCES, or IBHRE certifications (CCDS, CEPS, CDRMS) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform remote evaluations and diagnostic reviews using cardiac physiology and device function expertise.
- Analyze CIED diagnostics from major manufacturers including Medtronic, Abbott/St. Jude, Boston Scientific, and Biotronik.
- Identify abnormal functions of pacemakers, defibrillators, ILRs, and CRT devices with corrective action recommendations.
- Document findings with precision following company standards.
- Communicate technical findings professionally to clinicians and care teams.
- Educate patients on device function and remote monitoring procedures.
- Coordinate remote monitoring protocols according to clinical guidelines.
