Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
- Current teacher certification and completion of an approved teacher preparation program.
- Ability to obtain and maintain certifications in Arizona, Colorado, Washington, and other states as assigned.
- 5+ years of successful work experience in educational technology or related industry.
- 5+ years of successful experience serving students, families, customers, or other stakeholders.
- 3+ years of experience managing people.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills with ability to navigate difficult conversations.
- Strong instructional leadership and coaching capability.
- Proficiency with Mac OS, Google Workspace, learning management systems, and task tools (e.g., Asana).
- Willingness and ability to travel to assigned testing locations for proctoring.
- Ability to pass required background checks.
Responsibilities
- Coach and develop Special Education educators into confident, highly effective professionals.
- Monitor team-level student engagement, progress, retention, and intervention data.
- Observe instruction, assess teacher effectiveness, and provide clear, actionable coaching.
- Lead with precision in IEP development, implementation, progress monitoring, and meeting execution.
- Foster a team culture rooted in ownership, humility, collaboration, and service.
- Partner directly with students and families during escalations to resolve concerns and rebuild trust.
- Build and refine systems, playbooks, checklists, and operational tools for instructional consistency.
