Requirements

  • Strong familiarity with traditional and non-traditional media and content creators in the United States.
  • Demonstrated ability in desk research to identify and qualify opportunities.
  • Proficiency with AI tools for research, writing, and workflow automation.
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous workflows.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on conciseness.
  • Experience with CRM tools such as Airtable and Salesforce.
  • Demonstrated ability to think like a journalist and craft compelling stories.

Responsibilities

  • Pitch GiveDirectly programs and research to traditional and non-traditional media outlets.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with journalists, newsletter writers, podcasters, and thought leaders.
  • Support the surrogate strategy by prepping spokespeople for media engagements.
  • Maintain and optimize internal systems, including AI-powered automation and CRM pipelines.
  • Monitor, track, and analyze media coverage using Airtable and Salesforce to ensure pipeline visibility.
  • Conduct deep research on reporter and surrogate backgrounds to tailor pitches effectively.
  • Collaborate with the broader Marketing team to package organizational narratives for target audiences.
