Requirements
- 4–7 years of commercial contracting experience (law firm or in-house).
- Significant experience with enterprise SaaS.
- Demonstrated ownership of complex commercial negotiations.
- Experience with data security and AI-specific contract provisions.
- Deep understanding of privacy, intellectual property, and AI regulatory regimes.
- JD degree.
- Bar admission in at least one US jurisdiction.
- Experience in legal tech, compliance software, or regulated enterprise SaaS preferred.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate MSAs and NDAs with enterprise customers from first redline to signature.
- Manage and protect company intellectual property within and beyond agreements.
- Address data privacy provisions and support compliance with statutory rules.
- Develop and maintain negotiation playbooks and fallback language to accelerate deal cycles.
- Oversee contract administration and track key milestones and renewals.
- Serve as the legal partner to Sales and Customer Success teams.
- Evaluate AI technologies, guide responses to AI regulations, and advise on legal risks.
