Requirements

  • 10-15 years of experience in Trust & Safety, operations management, or community moderation platforms.
  • Deep understanding of global platform compliance, digital safety standards, and robust SOP development.
  • Proven track record of managing managers, overseeing complex team structures, and leading large-scale, 24/7/365 operations.
  • Nuanced understanding of socio-technological safety challenges and online behavioral patterns associated with LGBTQ+ youth.
  • Experience in change management, policy shifts, and platform feature updates.
  • Demonstrated experience in high-level operational advisory capacity.
  • Exceptional ability to produce high-quality reports and presentations with high speed.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Ability to serve as the ultimate on-call escalation point for a 24/7/365 environment.
  • Experience evaluating, integrating, and optimizing automated content moderation systems.
  • Ability to travel to team retreats and conferences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, coach, and manage a team of direct reports to ensure strategic alignment and accountability.
  • Direct 24/7/365 trust and safety operations, including scheduling, workload allocation, and live incident escalation management.
  • Design and govern digital safety infrastructure, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), playbooks, and training modules.
  • Deploy quality assurance frameworks and auditing workflows to ensure policy enforcement and decision accuracy.
  • Act as the primary bridge between Crisis Intervention, Moderation, Legal, Communications, and Technology teams for platform governance.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to design and implement automated tooling, machine learning, and content-filtering technologies.
  • Manage the full vendor contract lifecycle and safety tooling ecosystem.
  • Own the creation of high-stakes executive reports, briefs, and data deliverables with fast turnaround times.
