Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive affordable housing compliance experience.
- 7+ years of leadership experience managing multi-state compliance teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of LIHTC, HUD, USDA Rural Development, and HOME programs.
- Thorough understanding of federal and state compliance regulations.
- Proven experience interpreting complex regulatory requirements and communicating strategies.
- Experience leading organizational change initiatives.
- Demonstrated knowledge of compliance reporting systems and technology.
- Strong ability to manage multi-state regulatory environments.
- Experience in executive leadership and succession planning.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional compliance strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Provide executive oversight of affordable housing compliance programs across multiple states.
- Ensure adherence to LIHTC, HUD, USDA Rural Development, HOME, and local housing regulations.
- Drive innovation and process improvements through technology and automation.
- Oversee compliance reporting, audits, agency responses, and risk mitigation efforts.
- Serve as the primary executive point of contact for clients, regulatory agencies, and senior leadership.
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing regional compliance teams.
- Identify systemic risks and implement long-term preventative solutions.
