Requirements
- 10 or more years of federal business development or sales experience.
- Demonstrated focus on manufacturing, additive, 3D printing, CNC, or machining technologies.
- Strong network within the DoD/DoW, particularly with the US Air Force.
- Expert knowledge of defense procurement policies and federal regulations including FAR, DFARS, and GSA.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint and Excel).
- Strong skills in PowerBI and CRM platforms.
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the time for networking, trade shows, and conferences.
- Knowledge of manufacturing software systems including CAD and CAM.
- Basic knowledge of engineering and manufacturing principles.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute long-term growth strategies aligned with DoD modernization and sustainment objectives.
- Translate federal budget trends and competitive landscapes into actionable pursuit plans.
- Lead cross-functional teams through the capture phase to secure multi-year contract vehicles.
- Build and maintain high-level relationships across the DoD ecosystem, with a focus on the US Air Force.
- Manage the end-to-end growth cycle from market research and CRM optimization to client onboarding.
- Represent the company at high-level industry conferences and trade shows.
