Requirements

  • At least one (1) year of experience in a sales role, or 3+ years of experience in another industry with a desire to pivot into sales
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments
  • Demonstrated bias towards action and willingness to perform hard work
  • Curiosity and a methodical approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to welcome feedback and champion new ideas
  • Professional demeanor, humility, and sense of humor

Responsibilities

  • Drive top-of-funnel volume through cold calls, emails, and follow-through, with a target of 400+ dials per week
  • Research and identify high-potential nonprofits and universities that could benefit from Instrumentl but aren't yet in our pipeline
  • Partner with Account Executives to build and work targeted account lists
  • Book a consistent volume of qualified demos each week by leading with curiosity and customer empathy
  • Track account and decision-maker details in our CRM to set the sales team up to close
  • Surface insights and blockers from prospect conversations to sharpen our pitch and inform the broader team
