Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience in business systems, enterprise applications, or a comparable function.
- 4+ years leading teams.
- Track record owning a business systems function at scale in a SaaS or complex software company (500–1,500 employees).
- Hands-on experience driving business requirements and solution design.
- Direct experience implementing a major CRM (e.g., HubSpot or Salesforce).
- Strong technical foundation across modern SaaS tooling (finance, HR, support, identity, and access).
- Experience designing and operating integration architecture, including iPaaS, point-to-point, or event-driven patterns.
- Experience partnering with Data & Analytics teams on ingestion and pipeline infrastructure.
- Strong vendor selection and procurement skills.
- Consultative, requirements-first orientation.
- Excellent influence and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to standardize and operationalize functions from tribal knowledge to documented practice.
Responsibilities
- Build a consolidated view of the tools landscape, tracking configurations, costs, and integration dependencies.
- Lead tool selection and procurement processes, bringing rigor to requirements and total cost of ownership evaluations.
- Partner with leaders across Revenue, Customer, People, Finance, and Marketing to align system strategy with business objectives.
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to translate business needs into scalable systems, data, and AI-enabled solutions.
- Establish standards for configuration, administration, and change management processes.
- Design and operate the integration and middleware layer (iPaaS, APIs, event streams) for reliable data flow.
- Manage data ingestion and pipeline infrastructure in collaboration with Analytics teams.
