Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in account management and customer success, specifically within the background check/screening or consumer reporting industry.
- Proven history of leading customer success teams and meeting retention objectives.
- Working knowledge of FCRA requirements and adjudication workflows.
- Experience building customer success strategy, operations models, and reporting frameworks.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in up-sell and churn reduction.
- Expertise in Excel and Salesforce.
- Exceptional writing, communication, and presentation skills for engagement with compliance and legal stakeholders.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% for industry conferences.
- Experience integrating teams post-merger or acquisition preferred.
- Experience in a PE-backed environment preferred.
- Familiarity with ATS and HRIS integrations preferred.
Responsibilities
- Achieve annual team quotas for recurring revenue retention and new business within the background screening client base.
- Lead and mentor the Customer Success team, fostering a culture of accountability.
- Collaborate with Product, Compliance, Operations, and Sales to optimize renewal, add-on sales, and service engagement processes.
- Develop and utilize product retention analytics to inform leadership decision-making regarding screening TAT, accuracy, and churn.
- Integrate Customer Success teams following company acquisitions.
- Serve as the executive escalation point for critical client accounts.
- Build customer advocacy through industry event participation and thought-leadership initiatives.
