Requirements
- BA/BS degree in business or science.
- Minimum 5 years of dedicated hospital selling experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry.
- Minimum 3 years of specialty sales experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry.
- Minimum 3 years of biologics sales experience utilizing specialty pharmacy or 8 years of hospital selling experience.
- Proven history of high sales performance.
- Experience with transition of care and patient journey processes from hospital to outpatient setting.
- Knowledge of single source pharmacies, reimbursement programs, managed care, and formulary.
- Strong work ethic and time management skills.
- Ability to travel within assigned territory, including overnights (up to 40-50%).
- Must reside within the specified territory (San Antonio).
Responsibilities
- Act as primary customer contact for sales demand creation by executing marketing strategy.
- Promote product clinical benefits to healthcare professionals.
- Execute Plan of Action (POA) marketing strategies to achieve territory sales targets.
- Develop and implement a territory business plan to meet customer needs.
- Perform weekly analysis of territory sales data to prioritize physician targeting.
- Report adverse events to the Drug Safety department per guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of call activity and customer information in reporting systems.
- Prepare territory budget plans for customer contacts and local symposia.
