Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with NetSuite or a comparable large ERP system.
- Strong understanding of month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Prior managerial or supervisory experience with the ability to coach and develop team members.
- Experience with multi-entity and international consolidations, including intercompany transactions and foreign currency considerations.
- CPA or equivalent certification is strongly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time as needed.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and support day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations, and multi-entity consolidation.
- Manage and support team members through the monthly close cycle to ensure accurate, complete, and timely financial results.
- Provide technical accounting support and assist with determinations regarding revenue recognition, lease accounting, and stock-based compensation.
- Maintain accounting policies and partner cross-functionally to review contracts and transactions.
- Support accurate financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls, including preparing and reviewing financial schedules.
- Identify and execute process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of accounting workflows.
- Partner with leadership and external advisors to coordinate annual audits, tax filings, and technical compliance requirements.
