Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in product marketing, growth marketing, or audience strategy.
- Proven experience in consumer marketplace, membership, or network-based products.
- Demonstrated track record of validating customer hypotheses through structured experiments.
- Strong analytical skills with an understanding of experimental design and data-driven decision-making.
- Expertise in developing sharp positioning and adapting messaging across various marketing channels.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Growth, and Data teams.
- Ability to lead through influence and collaborate effectively within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for creating strategy documents and internal recommendations.
- Self-directed and scrappy mindset, capable of executing research and strategy with limited resources.
- Deep curiosity regarding consumer behavior, trust, and community-driven platforms.
Responsibilities
- Define identity, affinity, and organizational segments representing significant acquisition and retention opportunities.
- Develop go-to-market motions including positioning, messaging, channel strategy, and activation flows.
- Run structured market tests, defining hypotheses, measurement frameworks, and success criteria to validate product-market fit.
- Equip cross-functional teams including Growth, Social, PR, CRM, and Product with actionable briefs and segment insights.
- Partner with creative and channel teams to ensure cohesive messaging and creative direction.
- Act as the voice of the customer by engaging with members and prospects to inform product and growth recommendations.
