Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in a highly analytical, decision science, or advanced business intelligence role.
- Proven track record of directly influencing senior management and executive decision-making.
- Outstanding stakeholder management skills with the ability to advise and collaborate with cross-functional leaders.
- Proficiency with Python, specifically Pandas, Numpy, and building data applications with Streamlit.
- Proficiency with SQL and dbt for data modeling.
- Experience with cloud data warehouse solutions such as BigQuery or Snowflake.
- Expert-level experience using Jupyter Notebooks for exploratory data analysis and statistical validation.
- Demonstrated experience using modern AI tools and developer workflow automation.
- Experience leveraging Google Sheets connected directly to cloud data warehouses for reporting.
- Strong understanding of consumer tech metrics including LTV, retention, CAC, ARR, margin, and cohort analysis.
- Proven record of translating analytical approaches into measurable business outcomes.
- Prior experience using Git for version control.
Responsibilities
- Act as a direct analytical partner to senior leadership and executive management to drive strategic business decisions.
- Proactively identify opportunities to optimize performance and increase operational efficiency.
- Perform deep-dive Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) using Jupyter Notebooks to diagnose trends and test hypotheses.
- Build and maintain interactive reporting tools using Python, Streamlit, and BigQuery-connected Google Sheets.
- Integrate AI-assisted engineering tools and workflow automation to accelerate analytical processes.
- Gather, clean, and model data using optimized Python, SQL, and dbt.
- Participate in peer reviews of SQL queries, Python scripts, and methodologies to ensure analytical integrity.
